STORK’S BAKERY & COFFEE HOUSE EXTERIOR RENOVATION PROPOSED DESIGN AND VISUAL PROCESS
This renovation project posed a challenge that required the use of inspiration from beyond the confines of Wilton Manors. The aim was to avoid the usual color palette used by similar buildings within the area. Instead, the colors are inspired by retail, commercial, and residential architecture. The building facades embody bold hues, matt blacks, bronze, alabaster, and grays. These colors exude modernism, warmth, and elegance, and invite people in while perfectly harmonizing with the eloquently designed tropical landscape.
FACADES VISUAL CHARACTER AND INSPIRATION
Collins Avenue, Miami Beach Master Bedroom Renovation
Upon first glance, the Master Bedroom may appear to be purposely staged, almost deliberately abandoned, and decayed by time. However, the truth is that this dwelling is located in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Miami Beach, providing mesmerizing views of the ocean. The client is a dear friend who spends most of his time working, leaving him with very little time to relax at home. Initially, this project seemed challenging, but after brainstorming and sketching possible design outcomes, I trusted that the GC onboard would bring forth his attention to detail to deliver a soothing, warm, and simply elegant place where the client could unwind with a glass of wine and a great movie to end the night.
